Choosing the right care home is one of the most difficult and important life decisions that a family can make, whether the placement is for you or for a loved one. Making this decision can be overwhelming when faced with all the different options available. At Assured, we try to adopt a more individual approach and actively encourage families and loved ones to be involved with every decision making stage to ensure that familes and residents are content and maintain control over decisions that effect their daily life.
Assured Healthcare takes great care to ensure that both the elderly, and their families, are supported during the difficult transition from independent living. We strive to help our residents maintain their lifestyle, interests and routines even when they find it difficult to maintain their own independence.
Person centred care is at the heart of our philosophy, so families and loved ones are encouraged to help us compile individual care plans with life histories, which ensures that there is plenty of mental and physical stimulation . This encourages people to maintain their identity and lead a full and happy life. It helps us to recognise their individual needs and wishes.
We have a range of activities and hairdressing facilities, and delicious and nutritious meals are served by our on site chefs, ensuring that each individual has a balanced and nutritious diet which is vital for health and well being.
Our care home managers have an open door policy and are accessible regularly during the week, and also hold regular residents and relatives meetings with Assured directors, managers and key staff so that there is effective and open communication.
Not only do we offer experienced staff and high quality support, but it is also a great place to work and develop through our individual training programmes.
